John Szabo "A grand success... firm and tightly wound, precisely chiseled, clean and above all, balanced."

Sara d'Amato "A best-selling Chablis ... Fleshy with racy acids and smoky flint on the palate. Lovely briny salinity appears on the finish. Just the right amount of funk to give the wine intrigue."

Huan Hooke ".....terrific"

Bill Zacharkiw "Classic Chablis. Minerality is so pervasive, Start's softly at first sip, then apples and pears, finishing on pure rock. Very good and well priced Chablis."

Natalie Maclean "An approachable unoaked Chardonnay"

The Moreau family have lived in Chablis since 1814.  Late in the 19th century, the family purchased several plots of Grand Cru and Premier Cru land.  Today, the family own land in five Grand Crus, and work vineyards in Petit Chablis and Chablis.  Louis Moreau has headed the family since 1994.

Chablis is a historic wine-producing town in northern-central France. It produces light, dry white wines famed for their minerality and crisp acidity. AOC Chablis wines are produced exclusively from Chardonnay. Chablis wines are made in a style rather different from those produced elsewhere in Burgundy. They are drier and fresher, rather than more weighty and richly flavored. Unlike typical Burgundian white wines, which are barrel fermented, Chablis is usually entirely free of any oak influence. Very few Chablis producers use oak barrels in their winemaking.
